18 Jul 42nd Annual Long Beach Leadership Prayer Breakfast
“Surprised by Hope”
With the sunrise just breaking over the horizon, more than 500 guests began their day at the Westin on September 19, attending the 42nd Annual Long Beach Leadership Prayer Breakfast hosted by the Long Beach Rescue Mission.
As our city united, there was a palpable energy, a movement of God as our presenters shared messages of hope, service, compassion and the redeeming power of the Gospel.
Community leaders, City officials, organizations, nonprofits, churches and individuals enjoyed this time of renewal and inspiration along with a special blessing of beautiful worship music provided by Northeast of the Well.
Highlights of the morning included:
Keynote Speaker, Father Greg Boyle, Founder, Homeboy Industries; honoring our leaders Carl and Robin LaBarbera, Jon Mesko and Oscar Mejia whose dedication and service has made a powerful impact in our community.
